B&B Lawncare & Snow Removal LLC. Joins National SnowCare
for Troops Movement to Support Local Military Families this Snow Season
B&B Lawncare & Snow Removal LLC. of Richmond, Indiana joins ranks with Project EverGreen’s SnowCare for Troops program, a new community-based program to provide free snow removal services for military families with a spouse or family member currently deployed in the Armed Forces. B&B Lawncare & Snow Removal LLC. will participate with snowplow and landscape professionals from across the country that donate their services and time to ease the burden on military families seeking help on the home front. SnowCare for Troops is a national program underwritten by THE BOSS Snowplow. “We’re proud to support the SnowCare for Troops program and lend a hand to help our local military families who already carry so much on their shoulders, the last thing they should be worrying about is digging out after the next snowstorm,” said Larry, Owner of B&B Lawncare & Snow Removal LLC.. “This is just one small way that we can say thank you for their dedication to country and military service.” Before the first snow flies, B&B Lawncare & Snow Removal LLC. is urging interested military families to register for participation in the SnowCare for Troops program by calling them at 765-967-0922. They can also visit the Project EverGreen website at www.projectevergreen.org/scft or call toll free at 1-888-611-2956. Participation is limited. “This program is a natural extension of our nationally known GreenCare for Troops program, where free service is provided to military families in need of lawn and landscape services,” explains Project EverGreen Executive Director Cindy Code. “With one spouse left to manage all the household duties, in-kind service donations by professionals and volunteers like B&B Lawncare & Snow Removal LLC. does so much to reduce family stress and show in a tangible way our support for America’s military families.” Along with the participation of B&B Lawncare & Snow Removal LLC, there are many opportunities for the community to get involved, including loaning snow removal equipment to volunteers or groups, and donating money, transportation or gas cards to offset snow removal and maintenance costs. The SnowCare for Troops program joins the seven-year program, GreenCare for Troops, managed by Project EverGreen that has already provided free lawn and landscape services to thousands of military families. This program now has more than 13,000 military families in its database and is supported by nearly 3,500 green industry professionals and volunteers.
